Welcome to Sajilo Rental ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our vehicle rental and ride-sharing services, including our website, mobile application, and physical rentals (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using Sajilo Rental, you (“you”, “your”, or “Customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use our Services.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must hold a valid driver’s license recognized in Nepal, appropriate for the vehicle type.
• You must pass our identity verification and comply with all local laws.

2. Booking and Payment

• Bookings may be made through our mobile app, website, or in person.
• Payment must be made in full or partially before vehicle dispatch.
• Accepted payment methods include eSewa, Khalti, debit/credit cards, or cash as permitted.
• All prices are in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) and inclusive of VAT where applicable.

3. Security Deposit

• A refundable security deposit may be required depending on the vehicle type and rental duration.
• Deposits are refundable within 7 business days after vehicle return, subject to inspection for damage or policy violations.

4. Vehicle Use and Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Operate the vehicle safely and lawfully.
• Not allow unauthorized persons to drive the vehicle.
• Return the vehicle at the agreed time and condition.
• Immediately report accidents, breakdowns, or theft.

You must not:

• Use the vehicle for illegal purposes or reckless driving.
• Sublet, lease, or lend the vehicle to third parties.
• Smoke inside the vehicle or carry hazardous materials.

5. Ride-Sharing Conduct

• For users of our ride-sharing service:
• Drivers and riders must behave respectfully and lawfully.
• Drivers must not demand cash unless authorized by the app.
• Repeated cancellations, abuse, or misconduct may lead to account suspension.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

• Free cancellations are allowed up to 12 hours before the booking time.
• Late cancellations or no-shows may incur partial or full charges.
• Sajilo Rental reserves the right to cancel any ride or rental due to vehicle unavailability or policy violations.

7. Damage, Theft, and Insurance

• You are liable for all damage, theft, or loss that occurs during your rental period.
• Optional insurance coverage may be offered.
• You may be charged for repair costs, towing, lost accessories, or downtime.

8. Fines and Violations

• You are responsible for any traffic, parking, or toll fines.
• If fines are issued in our name, we will charge the amount plus an administrative fee.

9. Account Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your access to Sajilo Rental if you:
• Violate these Terms or applicable laws.
• Provide false or misleading information.
• Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or unsafe behavior.

10. Privacy Policy

Your information is used in accordance with our Privacy Policy to process bookings, enhance safety, and improve services. We take appropriate measures to safeguard your personal data.

11. Limitation of Liability

• Sajilo Rental is not liable for:
• Indirect or consequential damages.
• Delays caused by weather, traffic, or third-party service interruptions.
• Accidents caused by user negligence or illegal behavior.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kathmandu District Court, unless stated otherwise.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be published on our website or app. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
